Tony: (36)
graduated from St. Louis University in May 1998. After completing medical school at Baylor College of Medicine he completed a pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital.  He was honored as the 2004-2005 Drs. Ralph and Judith Feigin Outstanding Pediatric Resident of the Year as well as the recipient of the  2004 McNamara Award presented by the Pele Chandler Endowment for contributions to child health and safety. Tony is now serving in the Pediatric AIDS Corps - a Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative. After serving in Maseru, Lesotho, Africa for two and a half years, Tony and his wife, Heather, a biostatistician, worked at the Baylor Children's Clinical Center of Excellence in Mbeya, Tanzania, Africa. Tony and the family will be moving to Cape Town, South Africa beginning in January 2012.  Tony has taken a position at the Desmond Tutu TB Centre at Stellenbosch Univesity. “Dr. Tony”, as he is referred, was the 2009 recipient of the Albert Schweitzer Award of Excellence presented by Chapman University for his achievements in bringing quality medical care to the children of Lesotho and Tanzania.  He was also selected as the recipient of the 2010 Ignatian Award presented to the Strake Jesuit College Preparatory Alumnus of the Year. He and Heather are parents to three-year old twin daughters, Mosa and Palesa, and 18 month old Amara Grace, 

David: (35)
graduated from Creighton University in May 1999. He received his Master's Degree in Education from University of Notre Dame in the Spring of 2003. After serving as Assistant Principal and middle school English and Literature teacher at St. Malachy Catholic School in South Central, Los Angeles, David and his wife, Rita, returned to Houston. After a tenure as  assistant principal and middle school language arts teacher at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School, David presently is the Dean of Academics at Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory. Rita taught fourth grade at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School for three years and is presently home with their children: Gabriela, 5 years old - the first Garcia-Prats girl- 3 year old Matías, and Andrea Catherine born March 2011.

Chris: (32)
graduated from Trinity University and earned his Master's degree in Elementary Education in the Spring of 2003.  Chris is the Men’s Head Soccer Coach at Luther College.  He was the assistant soccer coach from 2003-2008 at Trinity University, the NCAA Division III 2004 National Champions. In 2005 he was also the head soccer coach at Central Catholic High School in San Antonio, Texas, leading the team to the TAPPS State Final. Chris was awarded San Antonio Soccer Coach of the Year honors in the Spring of 2005. In 2011, Luther Men’s Soccer won the IIAC Conference and  went to the Sweet 16 in Division III Soccer. Chris was named Conference Coach of the Year and Region Coach of the Year. He and his wife, Stephanie, a social worker, live in Decorah, Iowa with 2 year old Leah Jane, and are expecting their second child in February 2012.

Joe Pat: (31)
graduated from Regis University in the Spring of 2003. He majored in International Business with a minor in Spanish. Always the communicator, Joe Pat works in the cell phone industry. He, along with his sons, 6 year old Logan and 4 year old Lucas, and 2 year old daughter, Olivia, live in Wauconda, Illinois in the Chicago area. 

Matt: (29)
graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in Sociology. He participated in the Partners in Los Angeles Catholic Education (PLACE) program with Loyola Marymount University graduating with his Master's degree in May 2006. He is the assistant principal and middle school math teacher at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School in Houston, Texas.  His wife, Mary, is a first grade teacher at St. Laurence Catholic School, Sugar Land, Texas. They are parents to two sons: 18 month old Tyler and Daniel born November 2011.

Mark: (26)
graduated from Seattle University in 2007 with a degree in English. Mark spent the Summer of 2005 working on a salmon fishing boat in Alaska. He is fun-loving, enjoys soccer, playing his guitar, and writing. His brothers identify him as the "smoothest" in the family.  Mark worked and resided in Big Bend National Park, Texas after graduation, traveled in Africa, and taught middle school literature and religion at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School, Houston. After celebrating their wedding August 2011, Mark and Diana moved to Nagishot, South Sudan . They will work and live in Nagishot for the next year. 

Tommy: (25)
also known as "Chop,"graduated from Providence College in Rhode Island, May 2009.  To enhance his major in Global Affairs with an emphasis on Latin America, Tommy studied one semester in Nicaragua and one semester at Pontificia Universidad Catolíca de Perú in Lima, Perú.  He is focused, bright, and wonderfully witty. He completed an organic farming apprenticeship in Jefferson, Maine in 2010 and then worked on an organic farm in Decorah, Iowa.  In February 2012, Tommy will move to Nicaragua and work for Project Bona Fide.

Danny: (23)
graduated from Santa Clara University, June 2011, with a degree in mechanical engineering--a perfect fit for Danny!  He studied abroad in Brisbane, Australia at the University of Queensland for the Fall 2009 semester. He continues at Santa Clara University pursuing a Master’s degree in engineering while working for a medical instrument design firm.  He is a creative thinker, gifted artist, and enjoys life.  

Jamie: (20)
graduated from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in May 2010.  He is a talented left-footed soccer player with a big heart and a big smile. In the Spring of 2007, Jamie was awarded the Strake Jesuit Crusader Award for the 2007 Outstanding Freshman. Jamie was also the Strake Jesuit 2010 recipient of the Todd Maddox Memorial Scholarship Award. Named to the Texas All-State Soccer Team and a second team All-American, Jamie attends and plays soccer for Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, under the coaching of his brother, Chris.   He was named to the 2011 All Conference Team, the 2011 All Region Team and the second team All American.

Timmy: (18)
following in the footsteps of his brothers, is a senior at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory--our 22nd year at Strake Jesuit! Timmy, like his brothers, has a passion for soccer in all its forms. Timmy adores his brothers, and his brothers him,  and is, we decided, the politician of the family.
