Our Sons

Tony: (31) graduated from St. Louis University in May 1998. After completing medical school at Baylor College of Medicine he completed a pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine where he was honored as the 2004-2005 Pediatric Resident of the Year. Tony is now serving in the Pediatric AIDS Corps - a Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative. He and his wife, Heather, work at the Baylor Children's Clinical Center of Excellence in Maseru, Lesotho, Africa.
David: (30) graduated from Creighton University in May 1999. He is received his Master's Degree in Education from University of Notre Dame in the Spring of 2003. After serving as Assistant Principal and middle school English and Literature teacher at St. Malachy Catholic School in South Central, Los Angeles, David and his wife, Rita, returned to Houston. David teaches at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School and Rita teaches at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School. They are the proud parents of Gabriela - the first Garcia-Prats girl!
Chris: (27) graduated from Trinity University and earned his Master's degree in Elementary Education in the Spring of 2003. He is the assistant soccer coach at Trinity University, the NCAA Division 3 2004 National Champions. In 2005 he was also the head soccer coach at Central Catholic High School in San Antonio, Texas, leading the team to the TAPPS State Final. Chris was awarded San Antonio Soccer Coach of the Year honors in the Spring of 2005. He and his fiancee Stef will marry in June.
Joe Pat: (26) graduated from Regis University in the Spring of 2003. He majored in International Business with a minor in Spanish. Always the communicator, Joe Pat works in the cell phone industry. He and his wife, Megan, along with their sons, Logan and Lucas, live in the Chicago area.
Matt: (25) graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in Sociology. He participated in the Partners in Los Angeles Catholic Education (PLACE) program with Loyola Marymount University graduating with his Master's degree in May 2006. He teaches middle school Math and Social Studies at St. Raymonds Catholic School in Downey, California. Matt is engaged to Mary - date to be announced.
Mark: (22) He begins his senior year at Seattle University, majoring in English. Mark spent the Summer of 2005 working on a salmon fishing boat in Alaska. He is fun-loving, and enjoys soccer and playing his guitar. His brothers identify him as the "smoothest" in the family.
Tommy: (20) also known as "Chop" graduated from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in May 2005. He attends Providence College in Rhode Island, beginning his second year in the Fall of 2006. He is focused, bright, and amazingly witty. As part of a service project with Strake Jesuit, Tommy constructed latrines in the Dominican Republic in the Summer of 2004.
Danny: (18) is a senior at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory. He is a talented soccer player, creative thinker, gifted artist, and enjoys playingthe drums. In the Summer of 2006, Danny will volunteer his time, at Camp Pine Tree, a YMCA sponsored camp, working with youth. Santa Clara University is Danny choice of schools where he will pursue an engineering degree.
Jamie: (15) after graduating from St. Francis de Sales, where he was honored at graduation with the Principal's Award, he follows in the footsteps of his brothers and attends Strake Jesuit College Preparatory. He is a talented left-footed soccer player with a big heart and a big smile.
Timmy: (13) is in seventh grade at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School. He is good at math and chess. Like his brothers, Timmy has a passion for soccer in all its forms. Timmy adores his brothers and is the politician of the family.
